The SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medicine Centre (AMC) builds on the collective clinical strengths of the SingHealth Group with the research and medical education capabilities of Duke-NUS Medical School. As an AMC, we pursue innovations to transform patient care delivery by integrating clinical services, education and research, with an aim to bring tomorrow’s medicine closer to patients.
With its key objective being to accelerate the discovery and development of diagnostic tools, drugs and therapies that would translate into better prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, the Joint Office of Research works seamlessly to identify and harness talent, support projects with state-of-the-art resources and synergise expertise across the AMC.
The Office is a central resource dedicated to coordinating, supporting and developing research activities within the AMC. It includes research administration offices that oversee the operation and development of research projects, resources to nurture and groom researchers, as well as facilities and services that enable research.
